Dancing with the demons

You read my demons and wrote poetry about them. They betrayed you, but to you, their poison was poetry.


Shortly after, you became acquaintances; you danced with my demons and allowed yourself to drown in the smoke of their lies.


Each day you help me grow, and conversely, they shrink.


Still, whenever they show, you kiss them and tell them to calm down.
